With the fast development of technology and products in mobile phone industry, we were challenged by our Client, who is the authorized distribution for Nokia to create a new 5 stories office building to accomodate their growing companies of 280 employees. This new building will function as their new showroom and centralized hub office for all their workers in Indonesia.
Efficient is the key element and since the building accomodates several companies, each floor is color coded to potray each company yet using similar general materials to tie up the whole building. New products advertisement and display walls are created as architectural elements to incorporate this need. Higher material specifications are used to distinguish hierarchy of spaces between common general work area and executive area. Concealed filing spaces with high tech security are designed to create elegant and organized work space.
As mobility is a very important aspect, there is no longer a rigid boundary between work spaces in the building. Roof area is created as an outdoor garden which can act as the extension of the indoor cafetaria, team think tank and gathering area ready to be used throughout the day either for lunch, work or special events as it is also adjacent to their function hall.
